Lacey has over a decade of experience using data-driven litigation and law enforcement approaches. She co-owns MK Analytics, which she founded with Meredith McCarron in 2021. Previously, Lacey founded and directed the Research and Analytics Department for the New York State Office of the Attorney General. She was an expert witness for the National Prescription Opiate Litigation, where she was deposed 20 times and testified in more than a half-dozen trials. She recently co-authored a six-part series called “Understanding Data” as part of Bloomberg Law’s Lawyer Development Toolkit in 2022. Her expertise includes using publicly available data to facilitate investigations with particular expertise in extracting, processing, cleaning, merging, and analyzing disparate datasets, enabling her to detect patterns and outliers that have been instrumental in advancing investigations and prosecutions.
